What's On

See the Calendar for upcoming events.

We have a Special Events committee who organise several different events each year. These are to raise funds but are also good social events for the whole community.

Below are examples of what we do and details of events coming up in the future.

The 100 Club. This is a monthly draw with three prizes available. It costs £5 a month to join and the draw is usually made at the Fresh Expressions service on the fourth Sunday of each month. See the 100 Club page for recent winners and details of how to join.

Whingreen Hall will be the location of a 60's Murder Mystery evening on Saturday 9th March 2019. Black Ivy Mysteries will present "Karnaby Killers".

The Flower Festival. We usually hold our Flower Festival every two years, please see the Flower Festival page for more information. The next Flower Festival "Out of this World" will be held from 24th to 27th May 2019.

The Sibelco Cornwood 10K Challenge. This is a 10km run starting and ending in the village square and has become a popular fixture in the running calendar. It also includes a fun run of 4km. The last Sibelco Cornwood Challenge was held on Saturday 28th July 2018. See the Cornwood 10K Challenge page for more details and past results.

Tea at the Ritz was held on Saturday 21st October 2017 in the village hall.

Cornwood Fair in the Square. This May fair has several stalls, entertainment and refreshements available and is a fun day out for all the family. The last Fair in the Square was held on Bank Holiday Monday May 2016. See the Fair in the Square page for details and photos of previous fairs.

We also have several groups. See the Groups page for more information.
