Sir Joshua Reynolds Choir Concert
The Sir Joshua Reynolds Choir gave a concert in Cornwood Church on Saturday 19th March 2016. The Choir began life in 1989 as Adult Education Class of 15 members, taking its name from The Sir Joshua Reynolds Centre in Plympton St. Maurice where it met. Since then, it has gone from strength to strength, increasing in size (average 50 members) and status, under the capable direction of Jenny George, herself an established singer in the Plymouth area, ably assisted by accompanist Anne Kalas.
They sang Rutter's Requiem with soloist Kirsty McEvoy and other selected pieces.
