Cornwood Challenge 2015

The eleventh Cornwood Challenge proved to be the most successful yet with over 200 runners in the challenge and over 100 in the Fun Run. We were lucky to have perfect weather conditions and the course records for men and ladies were broken. Jim Cole broke his own record set in 2006 by 9 seconds now standing at 34 mins 32 secs and Naomi Flanagan set a new ladies record of 39 mins 46 secs, 1 min 54 secs quicker than the record set in 2013. The races were started by Phil and Lyn Boon of Ermington Road Motors and the cups were presented by Andy Vincent of Sibelco.

Due to the unexpectedly high number of entrants we unfortunately ran out of medals towards the end. We will be sending a medal on to those who did not receive one. This should not take too long, but if you have not recevied yours in the next few weeks then please contact us through the website and we will make sure you get one.
